Superior Show Service is the foremost supplier of temporary electrical, indoors or outside. We carry an extensive supply of electrical distribution and lighting equipment and employ the qualified personnel it takes to make certain every aspect of your event runs smoothly. At one event alone, Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, we run over 7km of electrical cable to power all of their outdoor exhibits!

Company Profile

Superior Show Service is an Alberta-based company incorporated in 1985 by Larry & Cecile Sisson. In 2002 Chris & Barb Sisson purchased the company and we’ve enjoyed carrying on the success of the business for nearly a decade already.

Our main principle is still the same today as it was over 25 years ago – provide both Show Management and Exhibitors with top quality products and first rate service. Whether dealing with Facility Staff, Exhibitors, or Event Management, Superior Show Service employees go above and beyond to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Our Customer base is continually growing, but we’re proud to say many of our clients today are the same people we’ve worked with since day one. We’re the official contractor for Grande Prairie Crystal Centre; Spruce Meadows; The Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association and Camrose Regional Exhibition Association, among others. Our experience with outdoor music festivals such as Big Valley Jamboree & Boonstock makes us one of the most qualified outdoor temporary electrical distributors around.

In recent years, we’ve made environmental stewardship a priority. Superior Show Service strives to leave each show site clean and ready for use by the next occupant. It only makes sense to take the same attitude toward Earth and the Environment.

Some of the things we do to help:

• GPS tracking in all trucks to optimize fuel efficiency
• Returning all table vinyl to our warehouse after an event to send for recycling
• Mini recycling station on-site at our warehouse to handle show waste, office materials and beverage containers
• Wherever possible we use non-chemical cleaners to clean our work spaces & equipment
• We encourage use of our on-line show manual and order forms to reduce paper waste
• We donate to Duck Unlimited to preserve wetlands
